Start a Club! Starting a club is a simple and easy process. 1. Contact State Chairman Travis Clinger, at travis.clinger@gmail.com and inform him that you wish to start a club. Then e-mail tars@teenagerepublicans.org and request your free informational packet. Include in the e-mail:
This packet will provide you with several booklets and a multitude of documents. All of this will be very helpful in both informing you about TARS and helping you start your club. 2. Within a week, your packet should arrive. The Federation will then connect you with an officer of your local Republican Executive Committee. This person can help you find a sponsor, find members, and possibly provide funds. The State Chairman will help you build create your constitution, see a sample HERE; charter with the State Federation, here is the Charter Form; and increase membership. There is no fee to Charter, and it is legally required, as one must charter to use the word Republican. 3. You will now have your club, and are well on the way to a successful group! The state federation will continue to do everything possible to help your club grow and expand. Good luck and God Bless! |
