About Us
The Florida Federation of Teenage Republicans, although having existed throughout the 1980's and early 1990's, officially reorganized in 2005. Erika Barger was elected the first Chairman of the Federation.
In September of 2006, Steven Munoz was elected Chairman. The Federation held its first annual summit on May 19th, 2007 when it elected its third (and current) Chairman, Travis Clinger.
Chairman Clinger was re-elected on June 21,
2007, becoming the first Chairman to serve
two terms.
The Federation has officially sent delegates to the national TeenAge Republican Leadership Conference on two occasions. Its representative attends all of the Republican Party of Florida meetings. Its members have logged thousands of hours in volunteer work for GOP functions and campaigns.
In the summer of 2007, the Federation, under the leadership of Travis Clinger, spearheaded the creation of the National Teenage Republican State Chairman's Association (NTRSCA).
Jennifer Houston served as advisor from the summer of 2006 until August of 2007, when Fulton Lewis began his term.
The Federation has
progressed from being one of the smaller
federations in the nation to being one of
the largest and most influential.
